TWS0037 Tissue repair is a natural phenomenon based on the capacity of our body to react to healing as a result of damage. At the level of our skin, there are ever more diverse ways to create controlled damaged to the skin and its cells in order to stimulate the production of collagen by fibroblasts; lights, lasers, needling, heat (radio frequency) and the introduction of foreign materials – ie dermal fillers.
In this presentation Dr Mole presents the findings of his study into how effective tissue repair is by the various methods described above and shows how slow resorbing dermal fillers, in conjunction with micro-needling technique produces not only volumising, but collagen creation over time, to help redress the signs of aging.
